SOUTH TYROL – ALTA PUSTERIA
This true jewel of the Puster Valley in the heart of the Dolomites, where nature reigns in every season, it is possible to live a new adventure every day.
These beautiful mountains were named a Unesco World Natural Heritage site in 2009. The range is in fact the world’s highest coral reef formed 250 million years ago. The Dolomites now form a striking ring of pale beige and pink rock towers, which arch out of the snow.
The region is filled with peaks, pinnacles and towers, the most famous of which are the Three Peaks of Lavaredo. The Sesto Dolomites offer a labyrinth of mountain trails, which are a treat to behold, either by bike or on foot, with acres of pine forests, picturesque lakes and dramatic alpine vistas at every turn.
