Small boutique hotel in the Dolomites

Zenana has quite a history: back in 1753 the house belonged to a tailor, and in 1829 it became the store of a glove maker, before being converted into a Viennese café in 1859. It has been refurbished with love by us, Anna & Maria, two South Africans women who once owned a famous restaurant in their country of birth.

We lived in South Africa for many years where we ran a famous restaurant named “Lombardy”. Before reaching Italy’s dramatic rocky rooftop, we made a life in the amazing Cinque Terre form where the family originated. We feel blessed to have had three lives in three of the most spectacular areas of the world.

Now we’re happy to be in San Candido Innichen and run our small boutique hotel. We are thrilled to welcome you to our home on your arrival.
